Privacy Policy
Lexim Labs LLC (“Lexim Labs,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values user privacy and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with applicable laws and platform requirements. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, safeguard, and process information when users access or use any mobile application, website, software product, or related service developed and operated by Lexim Labs LLC (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy applies to all current and future applications unless a specific application provides its own supplemental disclosure. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
We may collect information directly from users, automatically through device interaction with our Services, and from third-party service providers that support our operations.
Information voluntarily provided by users may include name, email address, account credentials, profile information, contact data entered into the application, notes, preferences, and any other content a user chooses to input. Submission of such information is voluntary; however, certain features may not function without it.
We may automatically collect technical and usage information when users interact with our Services. This may include device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, IP address, application version, crash reports, diagnostic data, and interaction metrics such as session duration and feature usage. This information is used to maintain performance, improve reliability, and enhance user experience.
If our Services utilize analytics, advertising, or infrastructure providers such as Google Play Services, Firebase, or similar platforms, those providers may collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and application interaction data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless it is strictly necessary for core functionality and clearly disclosed within the relevant application.
How We Use Information
Lexim Labs LLC uses collected information to operate, maintain, improve, and secure the Services. This includes providing core functionality, enabling user-requested features, troubleshooting errors, conducting analytics to enhance usability, ensuring platform stability, responding to customer support inquiries, preventing fraud or misuse, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
If advertising services are integrated into a particular application, collected data may be used to display advertisements in accordance with applicable platform policies.
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We may use audio data recorded through microphone-enabled features solely to provide playback, organization, and user-requested functionality within the application. Audio recordings are not used for advertising purposes, profiling, or analytics.
Legal Basis for Processing
Where required by applicable law, we process personal information based on legitimate business interests, user consent, contractual necessity, or compliance with legal obligations. Users may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to technical and legal limitations.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information with third-party service providers that assist in operating our Services, including hosting providers, analytics providers, advertising networks, crash reporting services, and infrastructure partners. These providers are contractually obligated to use information solely for the purpose of providing services to Lexim Labs LLC and to implement reasonable safeguards.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights, enforce agreements, investigate fraud, or ensure user safety.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protection consistent with this Policy.
We may share limited technical and usage data with advertising and analytics partners, such as Google, in order to support app functionality, measure performance, and, where applicable, deliver advertising services. These partners process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the data and the requirements of applicable law.
Users may request deletion of their personal information as described below.
Data Security
Lexim Labs LLC implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. While we take commercially reasonable measures to protect user data, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13, or the applicable minimum age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected without verified parental consent, we will take steps to delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact us for removal.
International Data Transfers
If users access our Services from outside the United States, they understand that information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using our Services, users consent to such transfers subject to applicable legal protections.
User Rights and Choices
Depending on jurisdiction, users may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete their personal information, restrict certain processing activities, object to processing, or request data portability. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request disclosure of categories of personal information collected and the right to request deletion. Lexim Labs LLC does not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.
Users may submit privacy-related requests by contacting us at the email address provided below. We may require reasonable verification of identity before fulfilling requests.
Users may also control certain data collection through device settings, including resetting advertising identifiers or limiting ad personalization through operating system controls.
Third-Party Services
Our Services may integrate third-party services such as Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Google Firebase, and Google Play Services. These services may automatically collect and process certain information, which may include device identifiers (such as Advertising ID), IP address, app interaction data, diagnostic information, and performance data. This information is used for purposes such as analytics, app performance monitoring, and, where applicable, displaying advertisements.
Even in versions of the application where advertisements are not displayed (such as paid or upgraded versions), certain SDK components may still be present and may initialize in a limited capacity. We make reasonable efforts to minimize data collection where features are disabled.
Users can control personalized advertising preferences through their device settings, including resetting or limiting the use of their Advertising ID.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Lexim Labs LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the Services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
Audio and Microphone Data
We may request access to your device’s microphone to enable voice recording features within certain applications, such as recording meeting sessions or audio notes. When this feature is used, audio recordings are captured and stored locally on the user’s device unless explicitly stated otherwise within the application. Lexim Labs LLC does not access, transmit, or store audio recordings on external servers unless clearly disclosed and initiated by the user. Microphone access is used solely to provide in-app functionality and is never used for background recording.
App-Specific Disclosures
Certain Lexim Labs applications may include features such as voice recording, analytics, or advertising integrations that result in additional data processing. For example, applications that include meeting recording functionality may request microphone access and store audio recordings locally on the user’s device. Applications that include advertising or analytics may use third-party SDKs such as Google Mobile Ads or Firebase, which may collect device and usage data as described above.
Data collection and usage may vary depending on the specific application and enabled features. Users are encouraged to review in-app disclosures and permissions when installing or using a particular application.
